Culinary Hunt

 

The main goal of this activity is to get to know Turkish cuisine while exploring the city at the same time.

We will organize the Culinary Hunt either in the Historical Penninsula or in Istiklal Street, Taksim area; initially briefing the guests in the hotel with details and dividing them into teams.

Each team  will have one marshal from the local company.

Each team will get; a City map, a Google Earth print out, Small wallet, pocket money for the Photo print outs, empty pages to write their recipe’s for the Recepie Book

Each team will have different tasks; for example;  to find a starter, a salad, a traditional main dish or sweets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The task for the teams is to find their recipe on the map, take a photo of their meal and find out how it is cooked.

The main idea is to proceed by designed route using navigation and communication skills. The team will gain points by answering questions and taking photos.

Kebab, doner, lahmacun, kelle paca, profitrol, kokorec, midye dolma, simit, lokum, baklava, cig kofte, borek, balık ekmek

We can end our activity in one of the restaurants or bars of Istiklal street or Sultanahmet. At the end of the game all the photos and recepies will be gathered in a recepie book which will be copied and given to all the guests.
